Soupies (Cuttlefish)
  • 2 1/4 pounds medium-small sized cuttlefish
  • Olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 lemons


Marinate the cleaned cuttlefish in olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper for approximately 1 hour.
While the cuttlefish are marinating, fire up your grill, griddle or frying pan.
Grill the cuttlefish over high heat for 3-5 minutes, turning them a couple of times.  You will notice the cuttlefish puffing up as they cook.
Serve the cuttlefish immediately with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
