Arugula Salad with Pasteli And Pomegranate

For Salad:

  • 4 large handfuls of pre-washed arugula
  • 3 ounces manouri cheese, crumbled
  • 1 bar of Pasteli crumbled (Greek sesame honey bar)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds

For Vinaigrette:

  • 9 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Petimezi  (Honey or Molasses may be substituted)

For Vinaigrette:

In a dressing bottle or jar with lid, add the olive oil, vinegar, petimezi, salt & pepper.  Shake well and set aside.


In a large, wide serving bowl add the arugula, top with sliced green onion, crumbled manouri cheese, pasteli pieces and pomegranate seeds, toss lightly, drizzle with dressing and enjoy!
